With the fx-var element you can declare a variable for re-use
in multiple places. Long complicated XPathes can be re-used this way improving readability and
changeability.
Variables can occur anywhere. They are invisible, they can contain simple values like "{$my-variable}"
There are {count(array:flatten($requirements))} requirements!
